Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Theatre Diary Android app (“the app”). The app is provided by Eugene Kuznetsov, an independent developer based in London, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
1. Who can use the app
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account.
2. Your content
Your diary entries, reviews and profile details remain yours. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store them so we can provide the app to you. If the app later lets you share content with other users and you choose to, this licence also covers showing it to them while it stays shared. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law.
Your diary entries are visible only to you.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit or spam, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that shares another person’s private information. Don’t impersonate others, try to access other users’ accounts or data, or interfere with the app or its servers, including by scraping or automated access.
We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms.
4. Show information and tickets
Show, venue and schedule information comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete or out of date. Check with the venue or ticket seller before you travel.
We don’t sell tickets. Ticket links open third-party websites, and any purchase is a contract between you and that seller under its terms. We may earn a commission when you buy through these links. It doesn’t change the price you pay.
5. Purchases
The app is currently free. If we add in-app purchases, they will be made through Google Play and subject to Google Play’s terms, including its refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. The app is provided “as is”
We work to keep the app available and your data safe, but we can’t promise the app will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove features. If we plan to shut the app down, we will give reasonable notice so you can save your data.
7. Liability
We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for losses caused by third-party websites or services you reach through the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time, and delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or as described on Delete your account.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
